Day 3<\/span><\/p>\n

Day three was spent visiting slum areas in urban Delhi. \u00a0It was a very difficult place to visit, there was rubbish everywhere and the smell was awful. \u00a0But \u00a0we were warmly welcomed by the people who lived in the slums. People who spend most days surviving day to day by begging and rag-picking.<\/p>\n

Day 2<\/span><\/p>\n

Hi everyone, I’m writing this post from Bilaspur, a small town in central India. \u00a0I’m here travelling with three other bloggers, documenting\u00a0World Vision Australia’s<\/a>\u00a0development work in the country.<\/p>\n

Rather than\u00a0re-share\u00a0project updates which you can see on my\u00a0blog\u00a0and\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0I thought I’d post a few street photographs that\u00a0I’ve\u00a0been taking as we move within and between places.<\/p>\n

All the photos I’m\u00a0sharing are taken with\u00a0ProCamera 3.8.1<\/a>\u00a0on an iPhone 5. \u00a0While\u00a0I’m\u00a0also using a Canon DSLR, the majority (70-80%) of photos\u00a0I’ve\u00a0been taking are with the iPhone and ProCamera. \u00a0This is because I know the combination so well and am able to find the perfect exposure much quicker than I can on the DSLR. \u00a0I also find that people are much less intimidated by the phone and are less likely to strike a pose when I’m trying to take candid portraits.<\/p>\n

As for my ProCamera settings I’m using Expert Mode for all of my shots and manually setting my focus and exposure points. \u00a0I use Full Screen Trigger when shooting and Anti-Shake in low-light to get a little extra sharpness in the photos.<\/p>\n

So, here are the photos from the first two days. \u00a0None of them have any post-processing. \u00a0They are as shot from the app.<\/p>\n
