We now have 36 beautiful filters that can be used for either small image adjustments or full scale creative expression.<\/p>\n<p>In this post I wanted to show you how to find and apply the different ProFX filters. I&#8217;ll also share a few of my favourite filters.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re going to work with this photograph I took last Saturday in the outer suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. The photo was captured using the ProCamera Expert Mode. I placed the yellow exposure circle to the bottom-right of the image to capture the late afternoon sunlight streaming across the field.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe1.jpg\" alt=\"ProCamera ProFX Filter Example\" width=\"635\" height=\"477\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To begin, we&#8217;ve opened the photo in the ProCamera Lightbox single image view. The Lightbox is accessed from the viewfinder by either using the the QuickFlick gesture (left to right swipe) or by pressing the ProButton&gt;Albums and Studios.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;\" border=\"0\">\n<colgroup>\n<col style=\"width: 319px;\" \/>\n<col style=\"width: 319px;\" \/><\/colgroup>\n<tbody valign=\"top\">\n<tr>\n<td style=\"padding-left: 7px; padding-right: 7px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe2.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/td>\n<td style=\"padding-left: 7px; padding-right: 7px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe3.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"padding-left: 7px; padding-right: 7px;\">Click on the Edit Button (bottom-right) to bring up the ProCamera Studios, click on ProFX.<\/td>\n<td style=\"padding-left: 7px; padding-right: 7px;\">This opens the ProFX Studio.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<p>On the bottom menu of the ProFX Studio you can select between four different filter tabs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retouch \u2013 with basic image adjustment filters including auto, brightness, fix yellow\/blue and contrast.<\/li>\n<li>Color \u2013 including colour, sepia and black and white filter effects<\/li>\n<li>Vintage \u2013 including classic bleach, hard gray and duotone effects including frames.<\/li>\n<li>Special \u2013 this tab includes some more experimental filters including the popular Half X and Cross filters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clicking on the Redo\/Undo arrow in the top-centre menu bar allows you to alternate between the filtered and original images.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few of my favourite filters:<\/p>\n<h2>Retouch<\/h2>\n<h4>Auto Filter<\/h4>\n<p>Here I&#8217;ve added the Auto filter from the Retouch Tab. This automatically adjusts the brightness and contrast levels in the image.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe4.jpg\" alt=\"ProCamera ProFX Filter Example\" width=\"645\" height=\"484\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Fix Yellow<\/h4>\n<p>This particularly image was taken in the late afternoon when the sun was low in the sky which added a warmish orange cast to the scene. The Fix Yellow filter helps to cool down the scene and normalise the colour balance.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe5.jpg\" alt=\"ProCamera ProFX Filter Example\" width=\"650\" height=\"487\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Colour<\/h2>\n<h4>Grayon<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe6.jpg\" alt=\"ProCamera ProFX Filter Example\" width=\"651\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Grayon filter is one of my favourites because of its high contrast, black and white filmic look. The effect reminds me of Trent Parke&#8217;s Minutes to Midnight series shot on 35mm film.<\/p>\n<h4>Sepiaphine<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe7.jpg\" alt=\"ProCamera ProFX Filter Example\" width=\"651\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I like this filter for its warm and rich sepia tones. It&#8217;s the kind of filter that transports you to another time and place. In this case, the lower contrast levels also bring out more detail in the second horse, changing the dynamic within the picture.<\/p>\n<h2>Vintage<\/h2>\n<h4>Historical<\/h4>\n<p>A punched up sepia, the historical filter replicates the worn, duo tone images from the turn of the century. I particularly like the way this filter adds texture to the tree and fence lines in the photograph.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/012113_0525_Howtousethe8.jpg\" alt=\"ProCamera ProFX Filter Example\" width=\"651\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Special<\/h2>\n<h4>Cross<\/h4>\n<p>I&#8217;ve always been a fan of cross process effects.
