{"id":4339,"date":"2013-07-23T22:42:31","date_gmt":"2013-07-23T20:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.procamera-app.com\/?p=4339"},"modified":"2026-02-17T15:14:17","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T14:14:17","slug":"how-to-copyright-your-iphone-photos-a-quick-guide-from-procamera-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/procamera-app.com\/en\/blog\/how-to-copyright-your-iphone-photos-a-quick-guide-from-procamera-app\/","title":{"rendered":"How to copyright your iPhone photos with the ProCamera app | Tutorial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re kicking off a new set of\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>short\u00a0<strong style=\"line-height: 24px;\"><a style=\"color: #ff4b33;\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/procamera\/id694647259?pt=949580\/appstorect=appstore\/appstoremt8\/appstoreuo=4\/appstoreat=11laV7\">ProCamera<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0tutorials to guide you through a few of the app&#8217;s tools and features.<\/p>\n<p>As iPhone photographers, we all share our photos online. \u00a0But, one of the challenges of putting your photos on the web is retaining ownership and copyright over your photographs.<\/p>\n<p>One simple way you can help secure your photos is to add your name and details to the EXIF data that is embedded in your picture \u2013 almost like a virtual watermark. \u00a0ProCamera is one of a few camera replacement apps that allows you to do this, here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">First tap the PRO button on the Capture Screen and select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/PC-EXIF_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4340 aligncenter\" title=\"PC EXIF_1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/PC-EXIF_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"309\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This brings up the Settings list.\u00a0 Click on More in the top-right corner to expand out the full list.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/PC-EXIF_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4341\" title=\"PC EXIF_2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/PC-EXIF_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"309\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0Scroll down and look for \u00a0Copyright (EXIF) under the General Options subcategory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/PC-EXIF_3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4342\" title=\"PC EXIF_3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.procamera-app.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/PC-EXIF_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"309\" height=\"472\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now you can enter your name and any other information you want embedded in the photo.
