Magenta Bug Update #1 Monday 17 December 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you to the users that have contacted us about the magenta bug. \u00a0Through extensive testing we’ve identified that the bug is related to the exposure lock control on the iPhone 5S.<\/p>\n

We have also found that the bug occurs in other camera replacement apps that provide exposure lock capabilities. It is however more common in ProCamera as we provide an easily accessible and often repeated locking process.<\/p>\n

We have reported the bug to Apple and will keep you updated on any progress. \u00a0In the meantime, if you are having ongoing issues with the magenta bug then please try disabling the F\/E lock setting in the Control Panel<\/strong>. \u00a0You can still lock either the focus or exposure points separately through a long press.<\/p>\n

We have also heard that some users have seen the bug disappear after rebooting their phone.<\/p>\n

If you are still experiencing the bug with the F\/E lock turned off then please contact our Support Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hi everyone, we need your help to fix a rare bug that’s affecting a small number of iPhone 5s users. We’re calling it the Magenta Screen bug and it looks like the screencap above. Users have described it as a split, flickering image with different colors that can appear when changing the exposure on the Capture Screen. \u00a0This bug was also unfortunately experienced by a reviewer at CNET<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to our reports this is an iPhone 5s bug only. \u00a0If you’ve seen this bug when you’ve been shooting then please contact us<\/strong> in the comments below or by providing details of the bug on our support page<\/a>.<\/p>\n
