1. How can I delete photos?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>A question that we often get at ProCamera is \u201chow do I delete photos from the app?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0ProCamera has direct integration with the native (Apple) photo library built-in to your iPhone. Consequently, ProCamera users need to open \u201cphotos\u201d on the iPhone and delete the photos there. This is easy to do by following a > few simple steps<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Why does volume get changed when using the volume trigger?<\/p>\n

This is a party political issue. More information can be found on our blog:<\/p>\n

3. Why does the QuickFlick Album require location services to be turned\u00a0on?<\/p>\n

Photos can contain location data. If you disable location services, Apple\u00a0assumes you don’t want third party apps to access ANY location information on\u00a0your device, including those from your photos and videos. Therefore, third\u00a0party apps like ProCamera are not allowed to access the media library when\u00a0location services are disabled.<\/p>\n

4. How can I enable to see a preview image of a taken photo before the\u00a0photo get saved?<\/p>\n

Disable “Auto-Save” within settings and you will see a preview of any taken\u00a0photo with the option to save or discard.<\/p>\n

5. Why can’t I see the user manual within the app?<\/p>\n

The user manual is an online-manual and requires an internet connection.\u00a0Sometimes loading takes a while when wireless connection is slow. There is\u00a0also a user manual on our ProCamera user\u00a0> support page<\/a><\/p>\n

6. How can I process a photo with ProCamera?<\/p>\n

Open the album (swipe right on the viewfinder, or open Album & Studios via the\u00a0left menu). Within the Album tap the triangle-button on the right of the\u00a0bottom toolbar and chose a studio from the menu. With ProLAB you can adjust\u00a0and optimize colors, with ProCUT you can crop and rotate your photo and with\u00a0ProFX you can apply fancy effects to your photos. (please optimize …)<\/p>\n

7. How can I sync my photos and videos with my computer?<\/p>\n

As ProCamera has a direct integration of the native media library, you just\u00a0need to connect you iPhone to your computer and use any photo management\u00a0software: e.g. use Image Capture or iPhoto on the Mac. On Windows you can\u00a0easily import images through Windows Explorer or any software you like. (…\u00a0the windows part needs to be checked and maybe improved)<\/p>\n

8. Why is there no video zoom?<\/p>\n

Currently, this is a computationally very expensive feature on iOS. This means\u00a0it’s not possible to create a satisfactory solution: either the frame rate of\u00a0the video is low or there needs to be a considerable amount of post-processing\u00a0time. Either way is not ‘perfect’. As we know a lot of our users want this\u00a0feature, we might let go of our perfectionism and bring out one of those\u00a0non-perfect solutions soon \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

9. How do I use the “expert mode”?<\/p>\n

To set and lock Focus and Exposure, Tap & Hold the desired spot on the screen.\u00a0Drag the blue Focus rectangle or the yellow Exposure rectangle anywhere to set\u00a0Focus and Exposure separately. Tap&Hold the center of the viewfinder to switch\u00a0back to auto-mode. Adjust color temperature by using the White-Balance Lock.<\/p>\n

10. What is “AWB” resp. White Balance Lock?<\/p>\n

AWB stand for “Auto While Balance” and means that White Balance is adjusted\u00a0automatically. White balance is an adjustment of the intensities of the colors\u00a0(red, green, blue). The goal of white balance is to render colors (especially\u00a0white) correctly. E.g. you can calibrate the correct white balance for your\u00a0scene if you point your camera on a white sheet of paper and lock white\u00a0balance (tap on the AWB button when you are in Expert Mode). You can also\u00a0adjust specifically (warmer or colder colors) by pointing at a red or blue\u00a0sheet of paper (or cloth) and locking the white balance. E.g. pointing at a\u00a0white computer screen (which has a cold color temperature) and locking White\u00a0Balance will get you very warm colors, while calibrating and locking against a\u00a0tungsten light source results in cold colors.<\/p>\n

11. Can I take photos in low resolution?<\/p>\n

You can enable LQ High Speed mode to shoot photos in VGA quality (640 x 480).\u00a0This mode is especially interesting if you need to take lots of photos at a\u00a0very high speed.<\/p>\n

12. How can I enable Steady Light?<\/p>\n

Tap the flash mode button in the left upper corner of the screen and tap on\u00a0the flashlight icon on the right.<\/p>\n

13. While recording HD and Full HD video (16:9) – how can I switch the scale factor of the preview view?<\/p>\n

With a Three-Finger-Tap on the viewfinder you can change the scale factor.
