RAW and ProRAW capture and editing just got even more powerful in ProCamera<\/h1>\n

Yet even for non-RAW users v14.3 brings major improvements \u2013 like an extended White Balance, additional Focus Peaking colors, Lightbox quick export and new cinematic capture formats<\/h2>\n

ADVANCED HANDLING OF PRORAW AND RAW CAPTURES<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”58187″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]ProRAW and RAW captures now support ‘instant development’<\/strong>. This means when you capture a RAW photo and apply an aspect ratio other than the native 4:3 or use the Auto Perspective Correct feature, you will automatically get an edited version right after capture. The edited version is a processed image based on the actual RAW image data<\/strong>. You don’t need to take any extra steps \u2013 our new automatic process quickly develops the edited version for you in the background.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Example:<\/em> You are photographing in RAW format. You activate the 16:9 capture aspect ratio and you are using our APC feature to get perfectly straight lines. After you tap the shutter button, the original RAW file is saved. Since it’s a RAW file, it’s saved in the native 4:3 aspect ratio of the sensor and no perspective processing takes places. However, our new instant development automatically creates an edited version with your specifications (16:9 format + straight lines). This nondestructive workflow allows you to preserve the original file while also having a processed file ready to use.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

AUTO PERSPECTIVE CORRECT FOR PRORAW AND RAW<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”58181″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes”][vc_column_text]Great news for ProCamera Up subscribers: our innovative Auto Perspective Correct feature now supports ProRAW and RAW<\/strong> photos!\u00a0For every available photo file format, you will see the auto-corrected image in real-time in your viewfinder, plus your photos will also be perspective-corrected automatically right after capture. RAW EDITING IMPROVEMENTS<\/h3>\n

FOCUS PEAKING COLORS<\/h3>\n

CINEMATIC CAPTURE FORMATS<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”58167″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Go extra wide with our new 2:1<\/strong> and 2.4:1 aspect ratios<\/strong> for photos. The wide new formats are available for capturing in the control panel and as subsequent cropping options in our editing studio.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

EXTENDED WHITE BALANCE<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Our manual White Balance tools for capturing and editing now provide a color temperature range down to 2000 Kelvin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you want to go even lower (down to 1000 K)<\/strong> please go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Color Temperature > Extended Range.\u00a0The extended range is intended for scientific and artistic purposes like infrared photography.<\/p>\n

Info:<\/i> To dial in a\u00a0manual WB when capturing a photo, please switch to M or SI mode in the control panel \u2013 in A mode, the WB button performs a WB lock that saves the current temperature and tint values.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”58173″ img_size=”large”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

LIGHTBOX EXPORT SHORTCUT<\/h3>\n

When exporting photos and videos from the internal Lightbox they will be stored outside the app in the standard iOS camera roll.<\/p>\n

Info:<\/em> Lightbox export works for a single file as well as a selection of images.
