LOG-profile ProRes Recording<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Now you can bring your videography to a new level with Apple ProRes recordings in LOG profile<\/strong>. The highly anticipated feature is available on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max and can be enabled via ProCamera Settings: Video Quality > Advanced Settings. ProRes needs to be selected as your video codec in order to record LOG video. Once that LOG is active, you will see a tag in the video info panel and naturally the viewfinder preview will look flat and low in contrast.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”61488″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]LOG profile provides flat color and contrast video, capturing maximum details in shadows and highlights, which is ideal for color grading and extensive video edits in post production.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Recording to external USB-C drive<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Use the USB-C port<\/strong> on the new iPhone 15 generation to record videos directly to an external storage device<\/strong>. In ProCamera this feature is available for all supported codecs: ProRes, HEVC and H.264!<\/p>\n

When recording video \u2013 especially with 4K resolution, high frame rate options and\/or ProRes enabled \u2013 you often deal with very large files. Storing those files on an external USB-C drive is a great way to stay organized and it let’s you maximize the available storage.
